Burn time

How long an 11 oz item lasts depends entirely on the product itself and how you use it. Here are some common 11 oz products and their estimated lifespans. 

An 11 oz candle will typically burn for 40–80 hours. For optimal performance and to extend the life of your candle, follow these burning practices.

Burn for 2–3 hours at a time to ensure an even melt pool that reaches the edges of the container.

Trim the wick before each use to about 1/4 inch.

Avoid burning for more than four hours, which can cause the wick to become unstable and produce more soot.

To trim a candle wick wait for the wax to cool, then use a wick trimmer to cut the wix to about 1/4 inch - 6mm above the wax. Trimming the wick regularly before each use promotes an even, clean burn, prevents excessive soot, and extends the life of your candle
